I've never witnessed a more true fan to their team. M3talhead has exhibited all that this sport has to offer, as far as sticking to your team and defending it to the last man. I admire the fact that some Americans still choose to root for the underdog, rather than pick a team that will easily see it's way to contention. I followed and defended the Steelers during the 80s, just as M3talhead has chosen to defend the Cleveland Browns through a half-century! Wow, you poor soul!!!

Anyway, it's my pleasure to present M3talhead!!!

OK. I kind of feel like I'm interrogating an enemy combatant from the Taliban with the Red Cross looking over my shoulder... hamstrung from the fact I can't use any of the effective tools laying around.

But, I digress. BernieRotten began his days on these boards castigating Ben Roethlisberger with ruthless abandon, gathering scorn and hatred from many Steelers faithful. But, we are a tolerant lot and I'm glad Bernie's given us this opportunity to put this member under the microscope so we can see what we're looking at.

This poll wasn't even close in the voting, so I'm confident we'll have plenty of inquiries for our friend Bernie.

Welcome to another edition of Know Your Member! I ask the questions and then I open up the phone lines to give you a chance to become more acqainted with our featured member. Last week we were fortunate enough to have NFL-Solomon join us for our inaugural show. And now on to our next guest...

Rarely do you find a poster with the energy and tenacity of jackal... he's a real stand-up member! He's responsible for developing some of the most discussed threads, with football subjects like Lawrence Timmons and offensive schemes to other entertainment-type threads including: Jackal's Scavenger Hunt (where I was robbed) and the most recent Steelers Awards.

First off, welcome to the show and cogratulations on winning our poll! Now, you're a 41 year-old high school QBs coach... How did you get your start and do the kids keep you young (not that 41 is old)?

Can you give us a little of your history: Where'd you grow up? Who'd you play for? Family?

And, of course, tell us a little about your love for the Steelers!

You may know NFL-Solomon as the prolific writer often found cohorting with various knaves and reprobates on the main NFL board. The sometimes controversial, and always entertaining, Solomon brightens-up my day on many occasions as I read his sly wit amongst the debauchery. In fact, I tracked him down as he was searching for a banned atheist sporting an avatar of Jesus riding a dinosaur.

You may also recognize Solomon through his former avatar of Captain James T. Kirk (who just so happens to be a Steelers fan). So let's all welcome our very first member in our inaugural debut of "Know Your Member" (annoucer with echo f/x)!

Solomon: Thank you for being our very first member to be exposed here! As a fan of Captain Kirk, how do you respond when people say Star "Track" instead of Star "Trek?"
